Charouz Racing System ahead of FIA F3 testing session in Jerez

Just a few days after the maiden FIA Formula 3 round held in Spain as support series to the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix, Charouz Racing System is ready to come back to work for the second, and last, collective session of the year. At Jerez de la Frontera the Czech squad is ready to attend two testing days on 12th and 13th May, before the next round of the season scheduled for 25th-27th June at Le Castellet. At the wheel of the Dallara-Mecachrome will be Enzo Fittipaldi and Reshad De Gerus, while Logan Sargeant can’t attend these two-day tests due to a previous commitment he had before the deal for the season was set with the team. The team decided to not run the third car in this event.

“We are sorry that Logan won’t attend these testing days in Jerez, because his experience would have been helpful to the team and also to his teammates, but we understand he had a previous commitment and can’t be present on track at Jerez. On the other hand, this gives Reshad and Enzo, who is another experienced driver in the series, the chance to get focused on their job. We expect two hot testing days, not only on track but also because of the weather, which will be a good testing plan for our goals. Looking at the 2021 schedule, it will be very important to make more set-up comparisons and testing as possible, because this is the last chance to run outward the race weekend”.
